Most dog owners who own a corgi know precisely that these pups are feisty creatures that come in small packages. This bossy corgi from California is no different. However, her fur dad recently found out that the one thing that scares off his adorable pup is a massive, green version of herself!
At eight years old, Luna, the corgi who hails from California, was still as boisterous and bossy as the day her fur dad, Matt, adopted her. Whenever she was at the park, she would always boss the other dogs around and was not really scared of the other canines, even those bigger than her.
Because of this, Matt would often joke that Luna had a ‘big dog’ attitude in a small package. He also hadn’t seen her back out of anything as the pooch was always on the lookout for mischief. But that was until earlier this year when Matt finally discovered Luna’s weakness.
The duo was out visiting Matt’s friend last January when the fur dad noticed a peculiar topiary right in the neighbor’s yard. The hedge was evidently shaped like a dog, but upon further inspection, Matt concluded that it was unusually shaped like a corgi.
Realizing it was the perfect opportunity for a photo, he then lured Luna in front of the topiary and had her pose for a picture. However, as Matt snapped the photo, he caught a hint of fear and panic in the corgi’s expressions. That was when he realized that Luna might actually be afraid of topiaries.
He couldn’t help but laugh at the thought and the face the pooch made while standing in front of a bigger and greener version of her. When he shared the picture on Twitter, people also found Luna’s reaction amusing, making the tweet go viral within days. Look at the corgi’s hilarious expression here.
